She earned her Associate’s degree in Mathematics from Raritan Valley Community College and went on to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from William Paterson University. As Tatiana explains, “The thing I enjoyed about mathematics and statistics was arriving at an answer that felt more precise. English and history never felt that way for me in school, but with math, there was a sense of certainty that I really appreciated.” While she initially planned to pursue actuarial work, her career path evolved, though her interest in finance and analytical work never changed.

Tatiana began her career in the mortgage industry as a funder and junior closer, reviewing closing packages to ensure documents were accurate, complete, and compliant before funding approval. She later transitioned into the banking sector, where she spent three years and advanced into a team lead role, supporting complex financial transactions and overseeing processes that required a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Now at the Curran Group, Tatiana recognizes that her role centers on developing a deep understanding of clients over time and staying attuned to changes in their personal and financial circumstances. She is enjoying a smooth transition into the role while continuing to build her knowledge across insurance, investments, and firm operations.

Outside of work, Tatiana is a lifelong soccer player who continues to play and enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
